Official: EU to find way of cutting gas prices in weeks

BRUSSELS, Oct 21 (PRIME) -- The E.U. energy ministers plan to elaborate measures to reduce the gas prices in a few weeks, Belgium's Prime Minister Alexander De Croo said on Friday.

“There is a lot of work ahead," De Croo said. “We are pushing ourselves into unchartered territory, where we don’t have experience yet," he said.

He added that the measures could include gas market interventions and a temporary limit on the prices.
